Mia Liang

PRESIDENT, PRODUCER

Mia Liang is a writer, director and producer. Her love of film began when she was 12 years old, and she has spent the past decade actualizing her dreams of working in the industry. Her previous experience includes working in both the writers’ room and on the set of S.W.A.T. (CBS) under Aaron Rahsaan Thomas, development with Little Monster Films, writing and directing six short films, and working on numerous other independent film projects in several varying roles.

Mia has recently expanded into the European film market, working with CamFilm and its sister company, Taodue, in Rome, Italy, on Il Patriarca (Canale 5) and more. Currently, she is co-producing Mary’s Monster with Rose Ganguzza and Sarah Hollis, shooting in Italy in 2025, producing The Dogwood Inn, a limited series in development, and directed a short film, Mermaid, slated to be released in 2025.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Florrie Shattock is a writer & filmmaker from Chicago, specializing in speculative fiction. They have worked in marketing & sales at Visit Films, digital & social media marketing at WITHIN, as well as on numerous independent films at Wesleyan and beyond. They graduated from Wesleyan University with a BA in Film Studies & English Literature.

Skye Kuppig

Skye Kuppig

HEAD OF DEVELOPMENT

Skye Kuppig hails from Massachusetts and is currently based in Rome. She began working in distribution and global sales at Cinetic, Oscilloscope Labs, and Magnolia Pictures in New York, where she helped to launch award-winning films at top festivals including Cannes, Venice, and Berlin and developed her love for director-driven cinema made to capture international and diverse audiences. She has since expanded to working in development and production in Europe, where she has collaborated with production companies including the Fremantle-owned Wildside and Il Varco. In her free time, she writes about film and contemporary art for the Netherlands-based magazine Tubelight. Skye graduated summa cum laude from Columbia University with a BA in Film and Media Studies and holds a master’s certificate in Film and Creative Writing from the Holden School in Turin.
